About Mendenhall, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Mendenhall is a small, unincorporated community located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. This community is found within Kennett Township, and it is located at the intersection of Hillendale Road and Pennsylvania Route 52. Mendenhall is conveniently located about 35 miles west of Philadelphia, and it is about 80 miles northeast of Baltimore.

As a tiny, unincorporated community in Pennsylvania, Mendenhall itself is not home to any notable attractions. Fortunately for visitors passing through this area, there are a variety of things to see and do located in the immediate vicinity. Many of the area attractions are found in nearby Chadds Ford, including great vineyards and wineries like the Chaddsford Winery,Ten Gallon Hat Winery, and Penns Woods Winery. Chester County is also a great place for antique enthusiasts to look for treasures, and area stores include the Pennsbury Chadds Ford Antique MallMcLimans Antiques, or Antiques and Images.

Mendenhall is situated at a transitional zone between humid continental and humid subtropical climate zones, but the area will experience four distinct seasons throughout the year. While these distinctive seasons allow for residents to enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities depending on the time of the year, this also means that they will want to invest in both home heating and air conditioning systems. Winters are typically cold with high temperatures only reaching the mid-30s, but a majority of nights will see the thermostat dip below the freezing point.

Summers in Mendenhall can be very hot and oppressively humid. Average July temperatures tend to reach the mid-80s, but there are several days in which 90 degree highs are common. Without proper climate control systems, heat-related illnesses are a possibility, especially for the elderly and people with chronic medical conditions. Mendenhall residents will want to make sure that their air conditioning systems are working properly before these dangerous weather patterns arrive.
