Cochranville is a small community, but there are a few notable attractions located here. Nearby Parkesburg is also home to several attractions and areas of interest. Chester County is popular for antique enthusiasts, and Pheasant Run Antiques is located in this community. Polks Country Flower Shop is a popular place to get a gift for a loved one, and the Parkesburg Shopping Center is a great destination to satisfy all of your shopping needs.

The weather of Cochranville is quite variable, so conditions can be dramatically different depending on when you visit. Autumn tends to be comfortable, with average high temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to mid-60s in October and November. Residents often take advantage of this time to service their home heat pumps and furnace systems for the coming winter, which are generally cold with moderate snowfall.

After a tough winter with an average of 70 inches of snow, a rainy spring will begin, with average high temperatures reaching the low-60s in April. This pleasant weather will last for a few months until the hot, humid summer months set in. Most days, high temperatures will reach the mid-80s, but high humidity will make it feel even warmer. Most Cochranville residents will invest in an energy-efficient air conditioning unit to keep their homes comfortable throughout the hottest months.
